Frequently Asked Questions

Where are you located?
We work with a couple of different studio locations in central Denver based on availability for the schedule you need.
How long is each lesson?
60 minutes.
How do I schedule my first lesson?
Use the contact form above to send an inquiry (including days/times you are available), or feel free to call us at (303)883-6691
How do I pay for lessons?
Cash, check, paypal and venmo are accepted for the full package amount to your first lesson.
What type of shoes should I wear?
Wear something with a smooth sole (hard leather is great!) that are comfortable to move in. Heels are not required for any dances. If you’re preparing for a special occasion like your wedding dance, bring the shoes you plan to wear.
Do lessons expire when you buy a package?
Yes, but only after a full year has passed since purchase. That should be more than enough time to complete the lessons in any package, no matter how crazy your schedule is.
What is your cancellation policy?
72 hours notice is required to avoid forfeiting the lesson.
What should I expect when booking lessons with CMDance?
First, we chat to schedule our first lesson. You can use the contact form or give us a call. For couples preparing for their first dance, we like to discuss music choices before our first lesson together. Having it narrowed down to a few songs before we start is helpful.

During our first lesson, we lay the foundation – how to connect, move, and some basic vocabulary. In the next few lessons we will continue with more advanced moves while fine tuning what you have already learned. Depending on how elaborate you would like your first dance to be, you might choose a package with more lessons.

In our final lesson, we add the finishing touches and practice, practice, practice.
