Celebrating the Biennial of the Americas!

CMDance is worked closely with the City of Denver to fill Denver with as much vibrant cultural energy as possible
to celebrate the Biennial of Americas with
CMDance at Hot Night Summer Tango & Blues Dance Extravaganza last Sat. July 17th!



We had great performances of dances from across the Americas, a delightful cuisine, a fantastic bar and classes for everyone. The evening featured a marvelous Tango class taught by Nick Jones and Diana Cruz of Natural Tango AND a smoking hot Blues Dance class taught by great Bluesers John Bolich, Gwen Phillips and Rachel DeMers, who runs Monday Night Blues.

Performances and classes included:
Tango for Blues dance class with Nick Jones & Diana Cruz
Blues for Tango dance class with John, Gwen and Rachel
Cueca Folkloric Dancing - Julia and Claudio
Milonga (Social Dancing) with DJ's John Miller and Andrew Jaswa.
Special performances honoring the Biennial 
             Folkloric groups Peru Forever, Mi Tierra from Chile, Sambos Caporales Illimani from Bolivia, 
             Nick Jones and Diana Cruz of Natural Tango, and 23Skidoo from the USA.
